Alternative Rebar Plant (ARP) was founded in 2019 through a strategic collaboration with Fiberglass Rebar Technology, FRT (formerly known as Tuf-Bar Inc.), a Canadian technology leader with over 25 years of experience in composite reinforcement systems.
At ARP, we specialize in the manufacturing of Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer (GFRP) bars using state-of-the-art technology to deliver superior performance and durability. Our products are engineered to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

As part of our commitment to continuous innovation, ARP maintains a strategic research partnership with the University of Sherbrooke in Canada. This collaboration is anchored in the prestigious NSERC Industrial Research Chair in FRP Composites for Concrete Infrastructure, a globally recognized program focused on advancing the use of fiber-reinforced polymer technologies in structural applications.
